Welcome back! We hope that you all had a chance to decompress, relax, and rejuvenate over the spring break.
Blocks 7 & 8 tend to be filled with activities, so it is perhaps fitting that this block's First Monday was marked by a united pause: no classes, no meetings; an opportunity for a break from busyness to take care of yourself. We hope that you'll take this cue to build time to focus on your mental health into every day. When people reflect on their values in the midst of stressful situations, they tend to see themselves as more capable of dealing with adversity, more likely to engage in positive action, and less likely to procrastinate. In this workshop, we'll use a journaling exercise to focus on how connecting with our values can help us manage stressful events.

Welcome back for Block 5!
[Diagram Description automatically generated]With COVID Omicron levels still high across the U.S., basic risk mitigation practices like wearing masks are imperative to keeping our community safe. We encourage you to wear your mask not only when on campus, but also when visiting off-campus public locations like stores.
