Dear faculty,
 
As you begin thinking about your courses for next year, the CEC invites you to plan to propose new and existing courses for General Education credit in the new GenEd program passed by the faculty in Block 8 2019. Students entering in Fall 2020 will complete this program. 
 
Proposals for GenEd credit will be due at the beginning of Block 3. A memo with details about what courses need to do to fulfill each requirement, the proposal process, and opportunities for training and course development will be sent at the end of this block.

If you have questions now about how your new, revised or existing courses might fit into the new GenEd program, please contact the CEC Chair (Genevieve Love), or, for questions about CC100/120, the new First-Year Foundations sequence, Director of the Writing Center Kat Bell and Director of Academic Programs and FYE Aaron Stoller.
