•	Advising for Off-Campus Global Study 

Thursday, Dec. 5, 12:15 – 1:30 p.m., Tutt Library Event Space

Colorado College offers hundreds of ways for our students to study somewhere else for a block, summer, semester or year. The Center for Global Education wants to partner with you as faculty advisor to help students know where to get resources to make all the pieces of these experiences fit together for their global education adventures, and to help you thoughtfully encourage informed reflection in students on which of the opportunities are right for them to pursue. 

This session will help faculty become familiar with the advising guides, course transfer database, and recommended lists of programs abroad for various majors, minors, and areas of interest. We will also share about competitive international scholarships and fellowships that you can help connect your students to. There will also be ample time for your questions. You will leave this session with greater knowledge of the resources you need to help accurately advise and encourage your students on how to make study abroad accessible and successful for them.
