As you likely know, we did not put half block courses in the course
catalog this last spring, since we couldn't be sure we could afford to run
the program until we knew about enrollments for next fall.
 
Although the numbers are still not secure (we're not sure how many
students will return), we will go ahead with half block this year.
 
Please let Pam Leutz (assistant to the [log in to unmask])
know if you do not intend to offer the course you originally planned.  If
you were thinking of adding a half block course, please let her know.
Whether or not that's possible will depend on the budget.
 
Once we have a solid count, we will let you know if you can offer the
course (it depends on the budget which has not increased for low these
many years).  If there are more courses than funds, we will give
preference to regular faculty over visitors.
 
We will also post the courses on the web course schedule and add them to
the revised edition of the printed version.  You may want to advertise
them on departmental websites.
 
Thanks for your patience with the uncertainty.  And I hope you're enjoying
