Colorado College offers an annual prize for the best
student work illuminating War, Violence and Human Values with
particular emphasis on the Human Experience of War. The prize will
be presented at the Honors Convocation in May.

Prize on War, Violence and Human Values
Colorado College offers an annual prize for the best student work
illuminating War, Violence and Human Values with particular emphasis on the
Human Experience of War. The prize will be presented at the Honors
Convocation in May.
The topic is interpreted broadly; it includes the experience of
combatants or noncombatants, in wartime or in the aftermath of war.
Students may submit research papers, fiction, poetry, plays or works of art.
Projects previously prepared in courses are eligible.
Students who wish to be considered for the Colorado College Prize
on War, Violence and Human Values should submit their works to Professor
Bill Hochman in the History Department office or email
bhochman@coloradocollege.edu no later than the end of Block Seven.
