I wanted to mention my cell phone company in case it might save any of you some money. This past week, Republic Wireless -- owned by bandwidth.com -- came out of Beta and released its service on the Moto X phone. Besides $10/month for unlimited calling and texting and $25/month for unlimited calling, texting, and 3G data, they also have a $40/month plan for unlimited 4G data (see https://republicwireless.com/plans). I've been using Republic Wireless for about nine months now and recommend the service, especially for the price. The "catch" is that they want you to connect the phone to WiFi whenever possible, since phone calls and text messages go over WiFi connections by default. However, if you aren't on WiFi, you can still use their service over the Sprint network. The Moto X costs $300 without a contract. (If you have an eligible, older Motorola phone, you can get $100 back with the Jelly Bean Rebate; see https://community.republicwireless.com/docs/DOC-1656.) They also offer the Motorola DEFY for $100, but it is much less capable. (It runs an older version of Android, it can't switch you from WiFi to cell when you're on a call, and it can't send MMS text messages.) If you'd like to sign up, you can save up to $19 off your first month's service by using my referral link, http://referrals.republicwireless.com/a/clk/4sWZq. If you use that link, I also get $19 off my next bill. Let me know if you have any questions.... Joseph, x6301
