Join The Butler Center for its Block 5 First Generation Program initiative! We'll be engaging with Hot Topics: Socioeconomic Status at Colorado College, Women's March, and Ban on Immigration (links to the articles below) while we eat some Panera and continue building community within the group!



When: Thursday, February 9th

Where: Slocum Commons

Time: 12:15-1pm

The deadline to RSVP for food will be the Tuesday before each scheduled program. Those who RSVP and do not show should not expect food at future meetings. These meetings are also open to 1st Gen faculty and staff.

Note:  Members of this list have been signed up to receive 1st Generation College student emails and invitations because you have either been identified in the Admission process as a 1st Generation college students or have self-identified as a 1st Generation student or graduate. If you have friends who would be eligible to be part of blockly programs specifically targeting support for 1st generation students, feel free to refer them to Kazzandra Medellin.

Here in The Butler Center, 1st generation college students are students who come to college from a home where their parent or guardian with whom they reside have not attained a 4-year degree.
