Hi All!

I just want to remind you that we have an AWESOME program TOMORROW with Tomi-Ann Roberts (Psychology and Feminist & Gender Studies) entitled, "Laughing to Learn: Enjoying your CC Education." This is a very fun, very interactive program. Take an hour out of your busy schedule to laugh! Same time (noon), same place (Glass House). As always, lunch will be served.

For those of you who are graduating, we want to recognize you!

* As we mentioned before, we will honor our graduating seniors with First Generation pins at the 2012 OMIS Year-End Formal on Friday, May 4th. The invitation is attached. You must RSVP by April 27th. We will also be reaching out to all seniors to make sure that you will be there to receive your pins. Jill Tiefenthaler, who is first-generation herself, will be "pinning" the seniors at the Formal, so this is really a special event.

* Finally, graduating seniors, save the date for the First Generation Brunch Reception with you and your family during commencement weekend. In your honor, OMIS is holding a brunch reception on Sunday, May 20th at 11:00 AM. You and your family will be receiving invitations soon.

All first-generation students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend these year-end events! Come celebrate the graduating seniors and another great year! RSVP by Friday, April 27th to Kelly Tinan (Worner 230) with a $25/person refundable deposit.
