  * The Wellness Resource Center (now located in 230 Yalich Student Support Building) has a number of great resources you can use when you come in, including:
     * The WRC Lending Library. You can find the list of books we have here<https://www.coloradocollege.edu/other/wellness/resources-education/wrc-lending-library.html>, and can check the books out for up to 3 weeks at a time.
        * Our featured book of the block is Sexual Citizens, which transforms the way we understand and address sexual assault. Through intimate portraits of life and sex among today’s college students, the authors reveal the social ecosystem that makes sexual assault a predictable element of life on a college campus, and provide a roadmap for how to address it.
     * Consent Corner, where you’ll find information and resources about consent and sexual health.
     * Journaling Prompts and Resources. Whether you are new to journaling or someone who writes every day, you’ll find a wealth of prompts and ideas to make your journal writing more effective for you.

With increased rates of positive COVID tests on campus, it’s important to note that the vaccines are quite effective in keeping people from experiencing severe symptoms or death, but they do not entirely prevent becoming infected. Following basic risk mitigation practices continue to be the best strategies for protecting yourself and the rest of the community. So, please

  * Wear masks when outside of your residence hall room.
  *   Wear masks properly:
     * Wash your hands before putting on your face covering
     * Put it over your nose and mouth and secure it under your chin
     * Fit it snugly against the sides of your face
  *   Avoid crowds.
  * Maintain 6’ distance from people outside of your living unit.
  *   Wash your hands frequently.
Also, remember that COVID is NOT the only illness going around! See the attached Symptom Comparison Chart for information about common symptoms of COVID, Strep, Flu, Cold, and Allergies. If you’re feeling sick, get evaluated by a medical provider, and stay home until cleared by a provider.

Hope to see you all soon!

Be well,
Heather
